If there s a drip edge installed where the fascia meets your shingles and the gutter is hung below the drip edge get some roll flashing and tuck it up under the drip edge and over the top of the gutter.

If your gutters are fastened with spikes and some spikes are loose or rusted simply hammering the spike back in isn t.

If necessary use a table saw to rip the inch thick strips from a pressure treated 1x6.
If the gutter is close to a bedroom window this can get annoying.
If clips or brackets hold your gutters check for broken clips and loose or missing screws.
However sometimes it s enough to tighten the fasteners and then apply caulking or sealant around them to ensure that the holes are watertight.

Drip strip is designed to fill the gap between the bottom of the drip edge and the top of the gutter to insure the water will flow into the gutter preventing any damage to your fascia or other parts of your home or landscaping.
