When the party gets halfway down the hallway the floor tilts downward on one end and grease begins covering the floor. This trap is best placed in a narrow hallway. If the trap is for a specific victim accidentally on purpose give them some info. Select about 1 3 of then to be trapped making it in a pattern helps the players out a little bit and makes them feel like they can mentally overcome the obstacle but random placement insures chaos.

First and probably the simplest set up a room that is 2 wide with a trapped chest at the end a trapped chest will give off a redstone output when opened so hook it up to a redstone torch to invert the sig. Resulting in the target falling to the ground. Just build a hole in the floor next to a wall in your house. Once the trap is triggered the floor of the area is filled with rubble and becomes difficult terrain.

Now if you press the button the trap door will open.

If you try to make the trap tempting it ll be more likely for it to work. Cover it with a trap door and then put a button on the wall next to it. The trip wire is 3 inches off the ground and stretches between two columns or trees. The net is hidden by cobwebs or foliage.

There are a couple ways you can do this. The floor of a small medium room is covered in identical stone tiles. This trap can even be effective. Place something of value or apparent value at the end of the hallway.
